1. About us
The Only Dog is a one-dog-only home-boarding service operated by J Blades trading as The Only Dog, based near Faringdon, Oxfordshire (SN7 7SS).
2. Bookings
A booking is confirmed when payment is received and you receive an email confirmation. Because we only ever board one dog at a time, your dates are then held exclusively for your dog.
3. Meet-and-greet
A free meet-and-greet is arranged before every stay. We reserve the right to decline or end a stay where we judge it is not in the dog's, our household's, or our own best interests — see our welfare promise and refunds policy.
4. Your responsibilities
You confirm your dog is fit and well, up to date on vaccinations and flea/worm treatment, and you have told us about any medical conditions, medication, behavioural issues or history of aggression. You confirm you have the right to board the dog and have adequate arrangements for emergencies.
5. Health & emergencies
You authorise us to seek veterinary treatment if needed and agree to meet reasonable veterinary costs. We will always try to contact you first. Pre-authorised treatment limits can be agreed for Concierge stays.
6. Payment & cancellations
Payment is taken in full at booking via Stripe. Cancellations are governed by our refunds policy.
7. Liability
We care for your dog as if they were our own and carry pet-business insurance, but we are not liable for pre-existing conditions or matters outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
